VPTrade.com Expands Reach: Innovative Trading Platform Now in Latin America and Asia
Brussels, Brussels, Belgium, 17th Jul 2024 - In a standing effort to educate and protect young people from the dangers of drug abuse, the Drug Free Czech Cyclo Run recently marked its 20th anniversary. Under the leadership of Lukáš Bechyně, the executive director of the Say No to Drug—Say Yes to Life Association this 12-day cycling and running event traveled across the Czech Republic with a clear goal—to shed light on the reality of drugs and discourage young individuals from experimenting with harmful substances.
As the world observed the UN International Day Against Drug Abuse last June 26th, the message "The evidence is clear; Invest in prevention" deeply resonates with the volunteers of the Drug Free Czech Cyclo Run. Their steadfast dedication to investing time, effort and enthusiasm in spreading factual drug education programs highlights the role of preventive measures in addressing the growing issue of substance abuse among young people. Every town they have visited serves as a platform for connecting with mayors, educators and community leaders, facilitating drug education sessions that empower local youth to make informed decisions.
In light of the growing issue of drug use among people Bechyně stresses the urgent need for early intervention, pointing out the worrying trend of children as young as ten being exposed to harmful substances. Teaming up with Vlastimil Špalek, who leads Drug Free World Czech Republic, their joint mission is clear: To spread awareness across the country and create a drug free environment for all youngsters.
Referring to the UN Office on Drugs and Crimes, emphasis on the importance of prevention methods in protecting children’s wellbeing and future members of the Drug Free Czech Cyclo Run remain hopeful. The positive impact of initiatives like Truth About Drugs is evident in the stories shared by those affected by earlier campaigns, reinforcing their dedication to achieving a drug free Czech Republic.
The campaign originates from the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology who understood the effects of substance abuse on people and communities. Hubbard stated, " Research has demonstrated that the single most destructive element present in our current culture is drugs." This in-depth understanding inspired the establishment of the Foundation for a Drug Free World offering the Truth About Drugs initiative and resources, at no cost, to drug educators globally.
With support from the Foundation for a Drug Free World and collaboration with the Church of Scientology, the influence of Drug Free Czech Cyclo Run goes beyond borders. Showcased on an episode of Voices for Humanity on Scientology Network, this project stands as a symbol of optimism and progress showcasing how community-driven efforts can combat substance abuse and pave the way for a future free, from drugs.
